Nexus College of Nursing Sciences, Katsina, has officially been granted full accreditation by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to commence academic activities in National Diploma (ND) Nursing Sciences programs.

This landmark approval follows the earlier resource inspection visit conducted by an NBTE delegation in July 2025, during which the College’s facilities, teaching hospital, laboratories, libraries, and academic plans were thoroughly assessed. After meeting all requirements and implementing recommended improvements, the College has now received full authorization to begin student admissions.

The representative of the Proprietor of Nexus College of Nursing Sciences, Dr. Bashir Sani, described the accreditation as a historic moment for the institution and for Katsina State. He emphasized the College’s readiness to deliver world-class nursing and midwifery education supported by modern infrastructure, highly qualified faculty, and comprehensive student support systems.

Among the facilities available at the College are:

A fully equipped teaching hospital for clinical training.
State-of-the-art classrooms and digital libraries.
Modern laboratories for practical learning.
24-hour electricity, running water, and free campus-wide internet.
Comfortable student hostels, a large auditorium, and a standard cafeteria.
A vocational training center to support student development.

With this accreditation, Nexus College of Nursing Sciences is set to admit its pioneer students for the 2025/2026 academic session, fulfilling its mission of producing highly skilled professionals who will contribute to advancing healthcare in Nigeria and beyond.
